What is Birdies for Branks?
Birdies for Branks is an annual memorial golf outing, started by Tom Brankin's 3 children, with the goal to keep his legacy alive, to celebrate him with countless friends and family members, and to raise money for charities in Tom's name. As many already know, Tom spent the majority of his adult life coaching a number of sports at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels: baseball, basketball, football, and golf. Coaching and helping others was his true passion.
Birdies for Branks has tried to maintain this passion on Tom's behalf by donating proceeds from its first 4 golf outings to the charity All Kids Play. Going forward, Birdies for Branks will donate to the Max Strus Family Foundation, as well as All Kids Play. We hope to continue to support organizations like these and others that Tom would be proud of.
